I used 3 ribbons for our 7 ft tree. No difficulty opening the battery box. The lights are a brighter white than a soft yellow glow. No complaints but it would be nice if they weren’t battery operated OR if there was a way to connect the ribbons together. It’s a little inconvenient to have to turn on/off 3 separate battery switches. Overall happy with the product and it does give the tree an extra touch.
